Mayonie Open Air media launch was an inspiring success!
In a world buried in digital noise, a touch of music good for the soul, this Open Air event promises to have their lined up artists provide fresh and awakening beats per minute.
The media launch was a success and impactful.
We learned the label was named after the grandmother of the founder, Zakes Bantwini, with the vision of being different, respectful, and productive to be able to accommodate female artists and their individual art.
However, the label has subsequently housed the creativity and artistry of male artists, too.
We were thrilled and excited about the reunion of Liquid deep after the long while of not having their music bless us with worthwhile sound of afro soul!

The guests were nothing short of vibrant and receptive to the new music that recently dropped for the fans to be informed with the latest creativity that’s been bubbling to be expressed by the artists.
On the 30th of November 2025, We look forward to hearing musical notes and lyrics that not only paint a vision of what Afro-house songs mean however, experience the beauty of meditation while surrounded by others that have the same subject in mind, body and soul.
